John Mutscheller is a manager for Frontier Communications and has lived in Pocahontas County for 22 years.

He serves on several boards in the county including the Pocahontas County CVB, Greenbrier River Trail Association and the Marlinton Railroad Depot, Inc. He enjoys volunteering in the community and helps with many organizations such as the Pocahontas Couny Landmarks Commission, Pocahontas County Opera House, the Marlinton Lions and Rotary Club, and Pocahontas County Senior Programs.

Recently he helped move the oldest house in Marlinton and is working on restoring the Depot in Marlinton.

He enjoys restoring old houses and is currently working on restoring a circa 1850 log home.

John also operated the VanReenan House B&B.

John lives in Marlinton with his wife, Robin.
