Malinda Meck is currently serving as President of the Pocahontas County Chamber of Commerce. She and her husband, Jacob, operate three businesses here in Pocahontas County: Jacob S. Meck Construction, Allegheny Disposal and The Outhouse. They are currently constructing a new office/shop building in Green Bank across from Sheet's Garage.

Malinda is also a member of the WV Home Builders Association and the Portable Sanitation Association International.

Malinda, a resident of Green Bank, is the mother of Jennalee, a student at Green Bank Elementary School. She is active in her church, Boyer Hill Mennonite Church, teaching Sunday school and being its treasurer. Her hobbies include reading, sewing and cooking.
