Pocahontas County was represented well at the State Capitol on Wednesday, March 9th!
On Wednesday, March 9, 23 Pocahontas County individuals participated in the Pocahontas County Day at the Legislature. This event was coordinated by Linda Simmons, Pocahontas County Chamber of Commerce Liaison and Delegate Denise Campbell. Each business participating presented an educational table display of their business and/or products. Many House of Delegate members and Senators viewed the displays. Dominion provided healthy lunches for participants. During the lunch period, participants heard from Delegate Denise Campbell, Delegate Bill Hartman, John Perdue, State Treasurer and Walt Helmick, WV Commissioner of Agriculture.
