Autumn Harvest County Fair Exhibit

Rules & Regulations 2016

1. All exhibits must be registered for competition at the Snowshoe Career Center,between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm on Friday, September 23, 2016.

2. All exhibits will be recorded and tagged by fair volunteers.

3. All categories are open to any adult or youth who desires to enter exhibits.

4. Exhibit categories are:

Baked Goods* Woodworking* Canned Foods* Garden Vegetables & Fruits*vNeedlework* Flower Arrangements* Quilts* Craft Items* Photography* Paintings*

*These items should be recent projects/creations that have not been previously exhibited.

5. All baked good must be exhibited on plain white paper plates in clear plastic bags.

Following are recommendations:

Breads: ½ loaf, Cookies: 3, Muffins: 3 Candy: 4 pieces, Biscuits: 3, Cakes: 2 slices, Rolls: 3, Pies: 2 pieces

6. The Fair committee cannot be liable or responsible for loss, theft, or casualty to exhibits entered.

7. Judging will take place prior to public viewing. The public will not be allowed in the Snowshoe Career Center during judging.

8. Exhibits will be open for public viewing beginning at 9:00 a.m. on the Saturday, September 24, 2016.

9. Exhibits MUST be picked up between 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm on Saturday, September 24, 2016.

The West Virginia RoadKill Cook-off is one of the region’s most fun and exciting annual events. In years past, the Food Network, the Travel Channel and the Discovery Channel have all covered this wild and offbeat festival! If you’ve ever wanted to taste exotic dishes like squirrel gravy over biscuits, teriyaki-marinated bear or deer sausage, this is the place to be!

CRAFTERS AND VENDORS: It is that time of year to start planning for the 31st Annual Autumn Festival and 24th WV Road Kill Cook-off.  We are looking forward to a very exciting event with your support.  We welcome all crafters, including emerging crafters from across WV and outside of the state.  This year’s craft show will be a one day event on Saturday, September 24th, 2016.
