We have a new jury process so please read carefully and follow. You MUST adhere to the NEW craft jury selection process. We want to keep the high standards set during the Festival and we think this will help. Thank you in advance for helping us out.
It is that time of year to start planning for the 28th Annual Autumn Festival and 23nd WV Road Kill Cook-off. We are looking forward to a very exciting event with your support. We welcome all crafters, including emerging crafters from across WV and outside of the state. This year’s craft show will be a one day event on Saturday, September 28th, 2013. The booths will be set up on Main Street in Marlinton with an information booth at each end of Main Street.
This year we have a jurying process made up of local artisans who will judge your craft to assist in creating a well-balanced show. Also new this year will be two awards presented to (1) the best booth display and (2) People’s Choice for best display. Visitors will be able to vote on your booth at each information booth on Main Street. Both crafters will be awarded a free booth space in next year’s festival! The results will be announced at the end of the day.
At this time, please provide the jury with 2-3 photos of your craft. You may email them to the following address: ahfjury@yahoo.com. Please include your name and a brief description of your craft in the body of your email. If you prefer to mail us the pictures and description, please send to this address: PCCVB (Pocahontas County Convention Visitors Bureau), PO Box 275, Marlinton, WV 24954.
Entries must be emailed or postmarked by August 31st, 2013 in order for the jury to respond with an acceptance letter via email or by mail and to guarantee your space. Once you receive your acceptance, fill out the enclosed form and mail with a check for $45.00 made payable to Pocahontas County Chamber of Commerce and send to PCCVB, PO Box 275, Marlinton, WV 24954, by September 15, 2013. Approximately two weeks prior to the event, you will receive a craft/booth number to place on your car dashboard so you will be allowed on Main Street.

We are excited about the growth of the festival and without your support it would not be possible to have such an event that has received national recognition. Thank you in advance and we will see you on the 28th of September. Happy Crafting! Crafts will be located on Main Street in Marlinton, West Virginia. Setup will be from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m on Saturday morning. Show will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please bring your own table and chairs. Booth spaces are 12’ x 12’. Registration is $45.00 per spot. Registration is on a first-come first-served basis. Spaces are limited. Forms will be dated when received. There are approximately 70 total spaces for food and crafters.
Raffles at the Autumn Harvest Festival can only be hosted by WV registered non-profits who have been in business for longer than one year. NO exceptions.

We ask that you don’t sell items with any reference to “RoadKill Cook-off” (i.e. hats, t-shirts, etc.).
