Jill Wong, owner of Our Town Boutique in Marlinton was delcared the winner of the “FISH BOWL” Grant held at the Hillsboro Fire Department on May 3. The Pocahontas County Chamber of Commerce sponsored the event. Pendleton Community Bank sponsored the $500.00 grant. The grant along with the attendee fees amounted to $860.00 for Jill’s business. She looks forward to having some evening activities and will also use the funds for advertising.
